Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what data Siga Siga (the website siga-greek.app and the Siga Siga apps) collects, why, and what you can do about it. Siga Siga is published and sold by Aleksandra Vert-Miller, Paphos, Cyprus ("we", "us"), who is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address, or the name and email shared by Apple or Google if you sign in with them. It is used only to sign you in and to reply when you write to us.
- Content you create. Your decks, words, translations, notes, pictures you attach and your review history. It is stored so you can study on all your devices.
- Settings. For example, your language pair and how many new words you want to learn per day.
- Purchases. If you subscribe, the App Store, Google Play or Paddle handle the payment. We receive only the subscription status and, for purchases on the website, the email and country you give Paddle at checkout. We never see your card details.
- Technical data. Crash reports, and usage statistics on the website: which pages are opened, which buttons are pressed, and steps such as "started a study session" or "added a word". On the website we also record how pages are used (session replays) to see where people get stuck. Everything you type is hidden in these recordings, and email addresses are removed. Statistics do not include your email or the content of your words or decks. If you are signed in, they are linked to an internal account number. No cookies are used for this: the data lives only in the open browser tab and is gone when you close it.
What we don't do
- No ads and no advertising trackers.
- We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
- Decks you share by link or publicly are visible to others only because you chose to share them. You can make them private again at any time.
Where the data is stored
Data is stored with service providers that process it on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in, servers in the European Union), Cloudflare (website), Resend (sign-in emails), Sentry (error reports, servers in the European Union), PostHog (usage statistics and session replays on the website, servers in the European Union) and RevenueCat (subscription status). Each of them may only use the data to provide their service to us. Payments on the website are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record for these orders, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records of purchases.
Your rights
You can see, correct and export your data, and delete your account at any time inside the app (Settings → Delete account). If you live in the EU, the UK or a similar jurisdiction, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. For any request, write to [email protected].
Children
The apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
